Gearchange:
We took the actual 27ßgears XT group

Breaks:
I thought, I can fix the parallelogram-breaks not so easiely I chooses
simple V-brakes from Avid.
Shifters:
I use rapid fire shifters and Mila uses grp shifters.
Saddle:
I prefered a solid Brooks leather saddle with two
springs for comfort and Mila took a soft women-saddle.

Tires:
We will take the Schwalbe Marathon because I always made good
experiences with them. You only have to keep under preasure (85psi)
and than a puncture happende to me about 2 times
a life of one tire. Thats good enough for our trip!

We mounted steel made racks from Tubus.
